Jeff had a rough night. The doctors have decided to keep him a few more days. He will be moving to 3rd floor today.

Friday night: Jeff is resting better than he has in several weeks. Hr was very agitated and I prayed and ask GOD to give him peace and rest. Ten minutes later and he was sleeping as peacefuil as a baby.
God may have healed him and we just don't know it yet.

Jeff was moved to UAB's Palliative Care Center located at 1716 6th Ave So. on Friday, Dec. 8. This is a super nice unit and they concentrate on symptom management. He will go home on Monday and Hospice will take over.
The breathing difficulties must have caused some oxygen deprivation because his headaches are much better since the trach was put in. He continued to have trouble getting any restive sleep and they are giving him a medication up to every two hours that finally gave him some rest. After Carl's prayers he quit the twitching, hard jerking and continual working with his hands. Even so, he tires withing five minutes of waking and sitting up. But his mind is clear during that five minutes.
